"I'm willing to accept the rationale behind it." Oh, really? This Justice Department debacle seems to have been solely created by the motivations of individuals! That is exactly what we should be questioning! Perhaps the voters of El Paso will accept the rationale of voting your stupid butt out, Democrat or not.

Where I get my news

These days, that seems like an important question for the person who's bringing you your news. Here are four sources, one weekly the others daily, that I use. Mostly I get their podcasts (except for the 'Span).

CSPAN's site You can watch all 3 'Spans from the net, and follow many great links to info on Congress. Forget the spin, this is where it's actually happening.

Bill Moyers Journal He's back, and we are better for it. His in-depth discussions never shy away from dangerous issues.

The Randi Rhodes Show on Air America Radio O Randi, Radio Goddess, not only are you (nearly) always on the money, but your guests are getting better too, that's how I found Greg Palast. Her site is an amazing resource, she gives you links to all her research so you can learn for yourself.

Salon.com's War Room The blog is as good as its editor, and Tim Grieve is incomparable. His team is on top of the news all day, keep refreshing and you won't miss a trick. (You will have to watch one short ad for a day pass, no biggie.)

I confess I've given up CNN, all that candy was rotting my brain. I follow a lot more sources in podcasts and on the net, but these are my staples.
